If you would like to book a different hotel, we recommend cancelling your current reservation first and then making a new booking. Please note that the actual refund processing time may vary depending on your payment provider. If you want to modify the existing hotel reservation, you can submit a request on the “Booking Details” page as long as it is before the change deadline.
Q2. How do I change or cancel a flight ticket?
You can find it via the link provided in your booking confirmation email or on the Booking Details page.
Information on fare rules is provided during the booking process. If you are unsure whether your booked flight can be changed or cancelled, please contact us via phone, email, or Trip.com’s customer support chat on the website/mobile app. Some tickets cannot be changed or cancelled. If you do not have an account, you can still view your booking details on the website using the email address you entered at the time of booking, and request a change or cancellation (for tickets where changes/cancellations are permitted).

You can review the voucher’s usage instructions and expiry date directly in that email. If you have not received a voucher-related email yet, the voucher may still be in the process of being issued.

You can check the voucher issuance method, usage rules, and validity period in the Trip.com app under your booking’s cancellation details. Voucher transfers typically require airline approval. For details such as extending the validity period, please contact the airline directly using the contact information on the airline’s website.
Q6. What should I do if my booked flight is cancelled or the schedule changes?
If you would like to request a free change or cancellation, you can submit the request directly through the app or the official Trip.com website. Go to **My Bookings**, select the relevant booking, and apply for a flight change or cancellation. The outcome depends on the airline’s review. Once a request is submitted, it cannot be reversed.
**Flight cancellation request:** Click **Cancel**. If a full refund is permitted under the rules due to the schedule disruption, the cancellation fee will be shown as **KRW 0**, and the refundable amount will match what you originally paid. Please review the details, submit the full-refund request for the disruption, and wait for the confirmation email.
**Flight change request:** Click **Change**, then select your preferred date and flight. If the change fee is shown as **Free**, you can change the booking at no cost. After confirming the new date and flight, submit the change request. Trip.com will contact the airline as quickly as possible to verify your request and will notify you of the result by email. In addition, airline-initiated schedule changes typically allow only **one** free change.
Q7. I want to check the status of my flight cancellation
Trip.com and the airline will do our best to process your cancellation request as quickly as possible. You can also check the cancellation status directly in your booking’s **Cancellation Details**. Once the airline reviews your cancellation request, Trip.com will notify you of the result by email. If **Cancellation Details** shows that the refund has been completed but you have not received the funds yet, please check with your card issuer or bank.
**Refund method:** After the airline confirms your refund method, if it is processed as a card refund, the amount will be returned to the account used for payment. The expected processing time may vary by card issuer/bank. If the refund is issued as a voucher, we will email you the voucher information.
